The housing units at the inaugural ceremony of the triage and management centre for patients tested at COVID 19 at the Seyni Kountché stadium in Niamey, on 17 April 2020. ..50 housing units with a total capacity of 100 places were inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Niger Mr. Brigi Rafini in the presence of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Moctar Kassoum, the Minister of Public Health, Dr. Idi Illiassou Maïnassara and the Minister of Women's Promotion and Child Protection Mrs. Elback Zeinabou Tari Bako. ..The handover of these Housing Units deployed by the United Nations System in Niger was carried out in the presence of the United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator in Niger, Mrs Khardiata Lo N'Diaye, the Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Alexandra Morelli, and the Resident Representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Mr Ismaila Mbengue.
