Setting up of Isolation sites in Niamey, Niger
The Humanitarian and Resident Coordinator for the United Nations System in Niger, Ms. Khardiata Lo N'Diaye (2nd from right), the Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Alexandra Morelli (centre), and the Resident Representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Mr. Ismaila Mbengue (right), visit the housing units during the inaugural ceremony of the VIDOC 19 testing and treatment centre at the Seyni Kountché stadium in Niamey on 17 April 2020. ..50 housing units with a total capacity of 100 places were inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Niger Mr. Brigi Rafini in the presence of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Moctar Kassoum, the Minister of Public Health, Dr. Idi Illiassou Maïnassara and the Minister of Women's Promotion and Child Protection Mrs. Elback Zeinabou Tari Bako.
